CHARTED: Arianny Damian on Luck, Lineage, Love, and Learning to Choose Herself
There are some readings where the cards feel symbolic. And then there are readings where the chart feels less like symbolism and more like someone gently holding up a mirror to your entire life.
My session with local creator Arianny Damian was the second kind.
From the moment we sat down together, her chart began telling the story of someone deeply radiant. A woman with immense inner strength, magnetic presence, creative fire, and the kind of energy people naturally gravitate toward. But underneath that? A lifetime lesson around learning how to fully claim her power without abandoning herself in the process.
This is CHARTED: my series exploring the stories, patterns, gifts, and soul lessons revealed through the Matrix of Destiny.
And just like Arianna herself, this chart was unforgettable.
The Woman With Strength at Her Core
The very first thing we explored in Arianny’s chart was her inner self energy: Strength.
In the Matrix of Destiny, this energy represents the soul beneath the surface. The private self. The emotional core. The thing you are when no one else is watching.
Strength? It fit her immediately.
Strength people carry a very particular kind of presence. There’s a radiance to them. A command. A creative life force that feels impossible to ignore. They often move through the world with intensity, passion, individuality, and enormous emotional stamina. (And one thing I’ve noticed myself: they all have amazing heads of hair.)
They are builders. Leaders. People capable of transforming entire rooms simply by existing fully as themselves.
But Strength energy also comes with an important lesson:
Power must be directed consciously.
Because the same fire that inspires others can also burn the self out if it isn’t handled carefully.
As we talked, Arianny reflected on something so many creative people quietly carry:
The tendency to become consumed by your work because your work is an extension of your soul.
Not because you’re chasing productivity.
But because your creativity feels inseparable from your identity.
She described herself as someone who “lives, eats, and breathes” her work; someone whose passions naturally become all-encompassing.
That felt deeply visible in her chart. Strength energy isn’t meant for small lives.
It asks for movement. Expression. Vision. Expansion.
The lesson isn’t to dim the fire.
It’s learning how to tend it.
“You’re So Lucky” — The Burden of Being Seen as Effortless
Arianny’s outer self energy (the way she is perceived by others) is represented by the Wheel of Fortune.
Which immediately made me laugh because if you know Arianny online, this tracks.
Wheel of Fortune people often appear incredibly lucky. Doors open for them. Opportunities arrive.
They meet the right people at the right time.
Life seems to move in sync around them.
But what fascinated me most was the contrast between her inner Strength and her outer Wheel of Fortune.
Because internally, she knows how hard she works.
She knows how much effort, resilience, risk-taking, and emotional labor exists beneath the surface.
But externally? People often perceive Wheel of Fortune people as though things simply “happen” for them.
As though success arrives effortlessly.
And during our session, Arianny spoke so beautifully about the tension between those two truths.
Yes, she has always felt lucky. But she’s also someone who relentlessly puts herself out there.
Someone who acts. Someone who moves. Someone who says yes.
Her chart reminded me of the phrase: Fortune favors the bold.
Because sometimes luck isn’t random.
Sometimes luck is what happens when someone consistently shows up fully for their life.
The Karmic Pattern of the “Oppressed Soul”
One of the deepest parts of the Matrix of Destiny is the karmic tail.
These are the soul lessons you came into this lifetime to finally resolve.
And Arianny’s karmic tail carried an energy called The Oppressed Soul.
This pattern often belongs to people who, in past lives or earlier chapters of this life, experienced suppression, control, silencing, or environments where their power was diminished.
People with this pattern frequently struggle with:
* Staying too long in harmful situations
* Silencing their own needs
* Waiting for permission
* Avoiding leadership because they fear becoming controlling themselves
* Feeling internally rebellious while externally enduring
As we explored this part of her chart, Arianny began sharing pieces of her own story.
Stories of surviving an abusive relationship. Stories of losing herself. Stories of staying in environments far longer than her spirit wanted to.
This was not a woman lacking strength. This was a woman learning how to fully use it on her own behalf.
That’s the difference.
The healing path for this karmic pattern is not domination.
It’s conscious self-leadership.
Learning that you can hold power without harming people.
Learning that you can choose yourself without becoming selfish.
Learning that your voice deserves to exist in the room.
Again and again throughout the reading, Arianny kept returning to the same realization:
The moments her life changes most profoundly are the moments she finally decides.
Not waits. Not endures. Decides.
And that felt like the entire heartbeat of her chart.
Love as a Sacred Classroom
When we moved into Arianny’s love line, the energy shifted completely.
There was still intensity. Still depth.
But now the chart was speaking about partnership as a place of learning.
Not performance. Not chaos. Not survival. Learning.
Her chart revealed someone who deeply longs for relationships rooted in:
* Shared values
* Emotional maturity
* Intellectual connection
* Spiritual alignment
* Mutual growth
* Honest communication
And one thing she said during this part of the reading has stayed with me.
She talked about wanting the future of her relationships to feel like a place where both people remain students of life together. Not just lovers. Not just partners.
But co-learners. Co-evolving. Co-expanding.
There was something incredibly beautiful about watching someone articulate that they no longer want love built solely on intensity. They want love built on mutual becoming.
Her chart called relationships “temples where two souls learn together.”
Whew! So beautiful!!!
The Money Wound Was Never Really About Money
Then we got to the money line.
And suddenly the reading cracked open into something much bigger.
Arianny spoke candidly about growing up in an immigrant family. About scarcity. About not inheriting objects, wealth, heirlooms, or generational stability. About trying to heal those wounds by giving.
Providing. Buying beautiful experiences for the people she loves.
And the chart responded with something I think a lot of us needed to hear:
Inheritance is not always material.
Sometimes what you inherit is resilience.
Sometimes what you inherit is survival.
Sometimes what you inherit is intuition.
Sometimes what you inherit is the ability to rebuild yourself over and over again.
At one point during the reading, we began talking about ancestor altars.
About honoring the women who came before us.
About creating relationships with lineage that go beyond money.
And something shifted in the room. Because suddenly the conversation wasn’t about what was missing anymore.
It was about what had already been passed down: Strength. Wisdom. Perseverance. Softness earned through generations of survival.
Arianny spoke about the women in her family with such reverence.
And it became incredibly clear to me that this lineage already lives inside her. Not as burden.
As power.
The Fool: Her Future Energy
One of my favorite moments in the entire session came when we explored her post-40 energy.
The Fool. And if you know tarot, you know The Fool is wildly misunderstood.
People hear “fool” and think naïve.
But The Fool is actually the beginning of the hero’s journey. The person willing to step toward life with curiosity. Wonder. Humor. Creative freedom. A willingness to keep becoming.
As soon as this card appeared, Arianny began talking about comedy, storytelling, satire, personal essays, and the power of using lightness to communicate deeper truths.
And suddenly everything clicked. Because this is exactly what The Fool does.
It teaches through play. It opens difficult conversations through curiosity. It uses humor to make truth easier to hold.
The Fool understands that joy itself can be revolutionary.
A Life Purpose Rooted in Love
At the very center of Arianny’s chart sits her soul purpose:
The Lovers. Not just romantic love. Real love.
The kind that asks you to remain connected to yourself while loving the world deeply.
The kind that invites beauty, sensuality, intimacy, creativity, and truth. The kind that refuses to harden.
During this final part of the reading, Arianny said something so perfect:
“I just want to be a big beating heart.”
That’s her chart.
Not someone trying to perform wisdom. Not someone trying to become powerful.
Someone remembering that her softness is already powerful. Someone learning that love itself can be a life mission. Someone choosing to remain open despite everything.
And in a world that constantly rewards detachment? That is sacred.
Final Thoughts
One of the reasons I created CHARTED is because I wanted to document these moments.
The moments where people recognize themselves.
The moments where language finally arrives for something they’ve always felt internally.
The moments where someone realizes:
“Oh. That’s why my life keeps unfolding this way.”
Arianny’s chart was filled with beauty, complexity, softness, resilience, intellect, humor, love, and leadership. But more than anything? It felt like the story of someone learning that they no longer have to abandon themselves in order to survive.
I think a lot of us are learning that lesson right now.
